Color and Monochrome Images with Separate Gamma Curves
EIZO’s unique Hybrid Gamma automatically distinguishes whether the displayed images are monochrome or color even within the same application. It displays the monochrome images in DICOM Part 14 adjusted mode and the color images in gamma 2.2 adjusted mode. This expands the usability of PACS applications by ensuring that color and monochrome medical images are optimally displayed.

4 Megapixel Bezel-Less Widescreen
The screen size and native resolution of 4 megapixels give this monitor the same amount of screen size and number of pixels as two 2 megapixel monitors in portrait mode but without the obtrusive bezels. This simplifies comparing images or allows for showing more information within one screen.

DICOM Part 14 Compliant
To ensure the most accurate and consistent shadings possible, EIZO carefully measures and sets every grayscale tones on the production line to produce a monitor compliant with DICOM Part 14.
DICOM Part 14 Calibration
When the self-diagnosis function, utilized with bundled RadiCS LE quality control software, detects a change in luminance, a warning icon appears on the desktop taskbar enabling prompt correction. Furthermore, the self-calibration function (patent pending), a simplified calibration compliant with the DICOM Part 14 standard, can periodically be performed to correct the grayscale tones and brightness of the monitor.
Easy Calibration with Integrated Front Sensor
Integrated Front Sensor, housed within the front bezel, allows the monitor to self-calibrate to the DICOM Part 14 standard. By installing the bundled RadiCS LE software, the Integrated Front Sensor and RadiCS SelfQC function allows QC tasks to be performed by the monitor itself even when the connected workstation is switched off. This dramatically reduces the time and effort needed for quality control.

Presence Sensor for Power Savings
The presence sensor feature unites convenience with savings by ensuring that the monitor conserves power when it is not in use. The presence sensor prompts the monitor to switch to power save mode when it detects the user is away from the monitor, and then resume normal operation when the user returns.

Monochrome and Color Images on One Monitor
A high-quality IPS panel with a high contrast ratio and high brightness makes this model ideal for displaying 3D rendering and fusion color images as well as CT and MRI monochrome images compliant with the DICOM Part 14 standard.
10-bit Color
With a DisplayPort connection, the monitor can support 10-bit input for each RGB color, displaying more than one billion colors simultaneously. This ensures accurate reproduction of color tones for 3D color rendering and image fusion.
10-bit color graphics board and 10-bit color viewer software needed for 10-bit color display.
Brightness Uniformity
The Digital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE) function provides optimum backlight luminance uniformity which is considered difficult to attain due to the characteristics of LCD monitors.
Calibration Mode Selection
Selectable with the front panel buttons, the CAL Switch function allows for various calibration modes of different modalities such as CR, CT, and endoscope images.
OSD Color Operation Guide
OSD operation guide displayed in color for easy identification even in dark rooms.
Brightness Stabilization
At startup or upon wakeup, the EIZO patented drift correction function quickly stabilizes the brightness level. In addition, a sensor measures the backlight brightness and compensates for brightness fluctuations caused by the ambient temperature and the passage of time.
This brightness stabilization function is EIZO patented technology (Japan patent number 3171808, US patent number 6188380).
Wide Viewing Angles
Wide Viewing angles with minimal color shift when viewed from the side.
Backlight Saver with Screen Saver
With ScreenManager Pro for Medical utility software installed, the Backlight Saver function turns off the monitor’s backlight when the screen saver is activated, and turns it on again when the computer comes out of screen saver mode. This function helps to reduce power consumption when the monitor is used for a prolonged period of time.
Backlight Saver with Viewer Application
By setting the Backlight Saver function to operate with viewer application, the monitor’s backlight is on while the viewer is being used and the backlight is off while the viewer is not being used.
Available in Two Configurations
In addition to its versatility for diagnostic use, the monitor can be used for viewing images in operating rooms. To meet the need of different OR environments, this monitor is available in two model configurations: a standard configuration that comes with a stand but without a panel protector, and a free mount (no stand) configuration that comes with a panel protector and offers easy attachment to ceiling suspensions.
