skeyes, formerly Belgocontrol, is in charge air traffic safety and management of the civil airspace across Belgium. The airspace skeyes covers is among some of the most complex in Europe, with controllers managing hundreds of thousands of air traffic movements annually. Raptor SQ2825 2K x 2K primary control monitors and auxiliary monitors of varying sizes and features sets from EIZO’s wide range are used at their OPS room, CANAC (Computer Assisted National Air Traffic Centre), and regional airports. In total, over 400 monitors were installed.

In addition to meeting the technical requirements as defined by skeyes, each application takes advantage of a unique feature from EIZO. Product design and mounting customization allowed for smooth installation into consoles, color calibration capability in some models ensures specific color tones are achieved for referencing important information, and size variation flexibly meets different usage scenarios.

Mr. Jean-Christophe Cagnati, Enterprise Technical Systems Architect said, “We would like to thank the EIZO team for being such a customer-oriented supplier. In my personal opinion, their attitude and responsiveness are great (intangible!) assets for us. I am very pleased we could make such a beneficial partnership and that it is going to remain strong for a long time. Not to forget that EIZO has been a main partner for ATM monitor provision, based on an 8-year service contract.”
